1. Fresh Meets Salt. Flat pieces
of granite detritus were laid down during the reclamation work. For the first
time in 100 years, fresh water met salt to create an estuarine edge. Blue line
indicates fresh water flow. The green line indicates the water passing over the
Storm Surge Line into what will become the salt exposed meadow.
